Cling-wrapped cars: genius or too far?
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
Some might call it childish, but in a world full of daily stress, a good prank is a reminder to keep things light and not take life too seriously.

April Fool's Day may be behind us, but the prankster spirit is still alive and well on social media.
Working in a fun, upbeat
office with colleagues who fully embrace their inner trickster can be a
blast – if you’re the kind of person who appreciates a little chaos with
your coffee.
Sure, not everyone loves a prank, and things can get a little out of hand... but sometimes, that’s exactly what earns you street cred (or a disciplinary hearing).
One over-the-top prank, shared on Instagram around April Fool’s, had people doing double takes – and possibly calling CSI.
Multiple cars were completely mummified in cling wrap, and the mastermind behind the madness? Still at large.
Watch the video below from Instagram.
If you look closely, most cars have Gauteng plates, so we assume this cling wrap mastermind calls Johannesburg home.
But here’s the real mystery: does the photo of the young woman on the pillar reveal the prankster... or just one of the unlucky car owners?
We may never know. What we can hope is that peeling off all that cling wrap delivered some oddly satisfying ASMR vibes because someone definitely needed a little soothing after that scene.
